Big Painting Profits – How To Make Any Home Look Great

Custom painting is more than an art. Many people “think” they know how to paint. Yes, it takes a real pro or someone who really loves to paint to do a really good job.

3 Things To Know:

1.) Use the best paint on the planet so each project looks its best. Right now, I like the Sherwin-Williams Emerald line. Whether interior or exterior, this stuff makes painting easy, and it looks good when finished.

Custom painting starts with a good exterior paint job. I always use historic paint brochures or brochures that have standardized 3-color combinations to choose a color scheme from.

That way you don’t wind up with an odd-looking colors on your shutters or your front door making it look like a clown house.

The same thing goes for interior painting. Interior color brochures and interior 3-color combination brochures will give you an idea for the right colors or color scheme.

2.) I always tell people to look at the color of the brick colors or the floor tile colors to choose a shade or color from. Or the stain color of your floors and woodwork and go from there. The same thing goes for exterior painting. Start with the existing brick or stone color.

Many people today don’t pay much attention to their ceilings either. They want just the walls painted. Why waste a good paint job by ignoring the ceiling?

3.) A beautiful paint job for a bedroom or a living room should consist of a flat finish ceiling (preferably white), a matte finish on the walls, and a satin enamel finish on the woodwork and trim. These sheenes are the best looking for these types of rooms that don’t have to be washed all the time.

The most important part is the prep work. This part takes a pro in some cases. My course called “How To Paint Like a Pro Estimating & Advertising System” will show you how to do prep work super-fast and easy.
