So what is ‘professional wages’ anyway? Professional wages is making just as much and many times more money per job than all the other contractors on any given job site, that is, if you are on a job site or just in someone’s nice home or business.
I used to think that being a house painter meant being just a poor old painter like it’s a bottom-of-the-barrel type of work. It’s not though. It’s a profession. Being a professional house painter or painting contractor can mean becoming financially well off if you wish to go that route.
It means becoming a commercial/residential painting contractor if you desire to do so. Realistically, you can take your painting business to any hight you dare to dream, even all the way to millionaire status – yes, there are some of those guys!
First, you need to learn how to estimate all your painting bids well so you can make maximum professional profits. This is easy and gets easier with every job you do, so that after a while you will know what types of jobs will take the longest, pay the most, etc.
You can now ‘cut to the chase‘ and learn how to start doing these things this week without taking any expensive courses. You can get to those more professional courses later if you think you still need or want them. That’s after you start making some good money first.
I created a painting course back in 2004 and taught everything I know about making professional income and doing professional work. You can see more by going to https://PaintingBusinessman.com.
BOTTOM LINE: From what I’ve seen so far, I’m willing to bet that most contractors in most any trade, don’t know how to estimate their jobs correctly. And because of this, they lack self-confidence, so they aim low to get the job and many times come crawling back begging for more money. That’s not professional.
You won’t have to be one of those guys. You see, when you know how to estimate professionally, you will have the confidence you need and feel justified when you do an estimate and present a bid.
